22.11.2022kAN, while Hyce was explaining locomotive metallurgy in the beginning—and while I was trying to think of a name for this railroad—I just realized how you come up with such perfectly straight and curved alignments. Never seen you do it before and it’s fantastic !

21.11.2022good sir, i have a challenge for you all on multiplayer monday, 1 person builds a truck to tow a trailer, another builds the rear steer drive, and 3rd builds a ladder with water cannons to put out a fire, using a city map, try to get there and put it out before fire engulfs the whole thing. more of a team work effort than a comp, but still be fun to see how it all connects and works out,

19.11.2022Do I want to see more of this series? DO I?!! 2 engineers talking about their job is awesome dude! I know nothing about engineering but I love it. Learning it like this and seeing a chill game playthrough is basically my 2 passions combined together. Please talk more about engineering while you play. This is such a chill game you can talk about anything while you play and you can fill in those long strips of railroad going through mountains, valleys etc by just talking about your jobs.

18.11.2022As a name for the railroad how about the SKR : Spicy and Kinky Railroad or KSR : Kinky and Spicy Railroad, because of Hyce's track laying (I know out of context it sounds….. lol, but thats what makes it fun)

18.11.2022I live in a real old logging town in the Adirondack Park in New York. The logs were chopped and floated down the river to the lake that the river spilled into. Once they were in the lake, they were hauled out, milled, and loaded onto a railroad to be shipped all over the state. The town doesn't do nearly as much logging anymore as it is mostly a tourist spot now, and our railway has been inactive for a long time. One month ago, the first locomotive transit from Utica, New York -> Tupper Lake, New York in 42 years was opened for the inauguration of the newly repaired track. I sadly missed the arrival of the locomotive, but I was ecstatic to hear that there are hopes that this will mark the beginning of a regularly scheduled passenger transit into the town. Prior to this, the town hadn't seen a train enter since before my parents' were even born. Hopefully this will become a regular occurrence that I might share with my son. I've never even been on a train, except in museums. I look forward to my first train ride being shared with my child, just as people hundreds of years ago in this same town got to experience with their own children.

18.11.2022I have a weird brake idea. What if the rotation of the wheels can be applied directly to the breaks so it’s own weight would hold it. And change the amount of motion conversion for less breaking.
