19.05.20228:56 it is Long Long Short Long. Also 29:08 There is a switch on bridge in Downtown St. Louis Missouri where the Terminal Railroad Association (TRRA) comes on to the Union Pacific and BNSF lines therefore creating a switch, but it might be automatic.

17.05.2022Trains communicated each other during the era this game takes place through whistles. Each steam loco that was in the consist would blow a certain amount of long or short whistle blasts to let each engine know when they were planning to move, stopped, issues, etc.

17.05.2022at approx 9:04 the whistle you are reffering to is a railroad crossing I don't believe there are any wistles for when you are approaching a tunnel. two long whistles combined with a short and long are sounded at every railroad/road crossing (unless a city has said not to)
