Hey everyone and welcome back to more Railroads Online! Today we are finally going to use the big Heisler gear train to retrieve the iron ore from the iron mine and deliver it to the smelter! This trip has been a long time coming and I’m super excited to finally start producing some iron products at the smelter! @Dapper

24.05.2022This game would get such a significant amount of revenue if they’d allow this game to go on Xbox gamepass the devs would get so much bank off this and improve and flat out these bugs, glitches and so on
Angelus Mortis
23.05.2022You can push the regulator higher on the hiesler… turn the sander on and you can go to like 72/75 % and it will climb a 10% grade like a champ…
Matthew Thaemert
23.05.2022a game suggestion for dapper and you, SNOWRUNNERS, an off-road trucking game, try it out I've played it a lot and its extremely fun with friends

23.05.2022What I tend to do is, if I'm running a smaller load or prepping a bigger one, I used my smaller engines. In your case it would be Betsy, but in my case it was Annie. As a railroad man you always gotta find a use for your old engines.

23.05.2022What me and kan was thinking when he was unloading the iron:
IRON BALLSSSS!!!
Sonia Nicolas
23.05.2022You have to make an Iron Works rail because soon you're going to have to be taking iron to the Ironworks or see what things that you will need to bring to the Ironworks because sooner or later people are going to start getting tired from seeing you go to going to the smelter or The Sawmill or the iron ore mine so soon you're going to have to bring stuff to the Ironworks so make sure that you remember to bring stuff to the ironwork sincerely Samuel the boy

23.05.2022You say you wish you just could have people on grinding and running the iron mine. I'm willing,

23.05.2022The time lapse was a great addition to the video!

23.05.2022Hi
Cake :D
23.05.2022How do train guys manage things?
Well, I can just talk about family experience, but my uncle became an alcoholic when workig with trains (like 30 years ago and in Austria), so I have misc feelings when talking about trains.
Still an interesting series

23.05.2022Where are the buffers all engines have to have buffers
NoobyGammer101
21.05.2022you should watch polar express
trains can go on ice too
Sapioit
21.05.2022It would be nice to see 5-6 people at once on your server, each running a different train on a different route.
byrd203
21.05.2022That's a Massive Bug report it make sure you have the Devs discord server report it on there and the will problem have to rewrite the tree system that's a Major Bug oh man send the Devs a report and this Video too

21.05.2022the climax is a monster, it can pull anything it's just painfully slow

21.05.2022Kan proceeds to say choo choo but forgot he has a whistle

21.05.2022the exact same thing that happened to you with the tree happened to me as well.

21.05.2022Imagine if this server gets public and someone messes up all the tracks

21.05.2022when locking the brakes on parked cars you could just do the first and last few. i do the first two or three and last two or three depending on how many cares i have
Ian
21.05.2022That tree did not appear… at 5:15 you can see the tree right before you tried to fall the 1 right next to the track.

21.05.202231:38 the actual mountain trains are usually logging lines, but they do sometimes carry more than just logs they could carry coal

20.05.2022Time-lapse 👍

20.05.2022Im still wishing Railroads Online! adds a Shay. For those wondering, the 3 type of geared locomotives used in the U.S. were the Climax, the Heisler, and the Shay. The Shay being the most used. A Shay in R.O. would probably have a tractive effort of 20,000 or something crazy like that.
Justin Dioncre
20.05.2022I would LOVE to help you hauling cargo with the trains 😀 A view hours a day keeps the boring not planned anything days away 😛
Jonathon Samanka
20.05.2022I would put a stub yard in the main yard inside the curve.

20.05.202231:15 wrt mountain trains: I dunno about US and CAN but in Europe, and specifically Switzerland and Austria, they use cogs for steep grades… something the devs could think about implementing as well…
update: actually I remember a long time ago (several years) I was watching a video of locomotives pulling cars through "El Cajon Pass" (at least that's what I think it's called) and it was indeed very sketchy and they explained the danger of derailing and the steep slope… I think they mentioned something about an accident there when they went through… (I think…)
jeff thorson
20.05.2022you just need a run a round track for your engine to put it on the outer side of your train
Christian Johnson
20.05.2022Maybe Railroad Online is simulating real life that you need to do daily maintenance on your routes so that they don’t become overgrown and cause problems like what you have been running into in this video, just a thought

20.05.20225:22 I had that happen to
Christopher D'Erasmo
20.05.2022Tree be like SURPRISE!!!
Corben Whipple
20.05.2022You could use Betsy for passengers.

19.05.2022A good way to bring heavy loads is to double or triple head the trains.
Christian Johnson
19.05.2022You can be able to set 10% of brakes on any cut of cars, like 1/10 cars can the brakes be on and apply as many brakes to keep the cars stay in place
Randy Wise
19.05.2022If you ever get to Silverton Colorada, ride the Silverton to Durango line. It is an old steam train tour ride. Goes through a valley over some awesome cliffs.
Laggy108
19.05.2022Listening to convo, Driving trains across ice is an actual thing that use to be done. Temporary rails would apparently be laid out over frozen lakes.
King Tropen
19.05.2022Kan, something for consideration. You can possibly make some stub end tracks of finished product just to help make larger potential loads. Either solid consists of cars with matching loads or whole consists for certain industries to minimize loading times, or just to have a little more to bring with each load and leave at the facility that will utilize those resources
Miles Saxton
19.05.2022Little known fact: there was a time that seasonal trains would go over a frozen lake.
Very dangerous actually
Nix Ryu The Sergal
19.05.2022What if when they fixed the desync tree bug it respawned ALL trees on the server so the Devs just coded it to remove all trees within X distance of the tracks.
Nix Ryu The Sergal
19.05.2022100% you need to keep betsy in service as a shunter at the main yard so you dont have to constantly use your big engines burning a lot of wood to shunt trains around.
Juan Fart
19.05.2022Is the game worth it?
Chad Eiserman
19.05.2022Anyone else thinks Dapper sounds like Moonbo?
Yokoto12343
18.05.2022It kinda triggers me that he always Sets the regulator to zero before putting more fuel in the firebox XD
Michael Stephens
18.05.2022Where is your loop track so you can operate your steam locomotive forward
Matthew Cox
18.05.2022Tree bugs, otherwise known as termites…
Karagianis
18.05.2022I wonder if they might add snow sheds at some point? would be a nice addition for mountain lines.
TiresOnFire
18.05.2022What's the song in the time lapse?
Jonathan Wilfred Michelin
18.05.2022Is anyone else hearing stunt and not shunt lol, I would literally have chaotic control I won't have parallel lines I'm OCD but I killed my OCD don't ask me how I'm just super lazy lol
Samgineer
18.05.2022With this time lapse, I can see we took basically the exact same route to the Iron Mine. Except my max grade is 4% and I'm sticking with having to run around the train with a passing track at the mine in order to return down the way you came. At the plateau before the steep climb I mean. I went around the Smelter valley because I plan on building a Museum by the waterfall which is where my approach on the plateau meets where you went up to the Iron Mine. You should come check it out! You can actually see the difference of how I built track when I started and how I build track now! It's actually pretty cool!

18.05.2022What's your railroads online server name and password
Ethan Schmid
18.05.2022I think the fast pace of chuffing might be the sound of the gears moving the more regulation of the throttle that you’re putting. Maybe.
